dc.description.abstract	Since 1998 a new trend in Argentinean telenovelas has begun to be part of the television schedule, and they have become the most popular programmes in the country. Different to traditional soap operas, where the main story is based on a stereotypical love affair with stereotypical characters and a predictable end, the new telenovela has a lot of characteristics that make it different to the ones that Argentineans had been accustomed to.	es_ES
